Matjoah used in place of salt makes everything taste so much better. It helps deepen the flavors of vegetables, meats, rice, pretty much everything. It is umami in powder form. I use this to season roasted broccoli for my kids and they inhale them every time.
I have been using 맛조아 for several years and it definitely enhances the flavor. I use it for both Korean and non Korean cooking and works great for both. I like it because it's MSG free and it adds umami flavor.
